Epilogue

Sorting through files. . . . .

emptying the little folder of pages that I left at the library in case people wanted to join in.
I unfortunately assumed that if people did use one of the pages, that they would put them onto the wall.
But I found a little surprise in the folder, a wonderful drawing of a man reading a book on a couch.
He is intent and happy, surrounded by the other books on shelves, racks of cd games and talking books and the patterns on the carpet.

What a treasure. He is our little epilogue.

Book Launch!

At the book Launch we did some more drawing and also making mini-books

thanks to Rachel for supporting the Launch and looking after the preparations.

And also to the other librarians who were giving me a hand ( I have forgotten your names).

 have a look at all the drawings in the library, have a go at the surprise activity,
 browse the pages of the new book which might contain your drawing!
and have a cuppa with us!

Sunshine Harvester School Joins in drawing the Library

Today the year 2 students of Sunshine Harvester Primary School walked to the Sunshine Library to join in with Drawing the Library. They brought with them their own pieces of paper to recycle and added some bits of library recycling as well as their drawings.
